Bieg maratoński mężczyzn podczas XV Letnich Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Helsinkach rozegrano 27 lipca 1952. Start i meta biegu znajdowały się na Stadionie Olimpijskim w Helsinkach. Zwycięzcą został reprezentant Czechosłowacji Emil Zátopek, który na tych igrzyskach zwyciężył również w biegu na 5000 metrów i w biegu na 10 000 m. Był to pierwszy bieg maratoński w jego życiu. Ustanowił rekord olimpijski uzyskując czas 2:23:03,2^[1].
